Cheeks puffed in minor indignity as the boy snipped at her. But then that was a refreshing feeling in and of itself.
“Well excuse me for not knowing my way around this district, mister,” she quipped back. He looked like the irritable sort, like some kids she’d seen when she’d gone to school in that era. Or the sometimes stern and harsh Haruka, especially when it came to things such as Hotaru.
“I was looking for a candy shop,” she admitted with a light nod, a small huff following it. Old habits were hard to break. Of course, having to avoid the district she’d “grown up” in was part of the challenge- she was sure that if the Inner Senshi saw her, she’d just be shipped back home again. “What’s got you so tightly wound, hmm?” she asked, canting her head curiously.
Just a few second into actually talking to her, and he could already tell he wouldn’t be too fond of her attitude. Maybe he had acted rather peevish first; but it wasn’t like he felt any remorse about it either.
Kiriha lifted an eyebrow at her. Huh, he did take a guess that she wasn’t around these parts – and somehow the thought of her looking for candy shops wasn’t so surprising, judging by her… relatively eye-catching appearance. Though he didn’t bother questioning it; he had a feeling he’ll need to save his breath for later.

“Nothing you’d bother concerning yourself with,” he responded somewhat curtly.
He paused for a moment, before turning to glance at her once more. “You’re not from these parts, are you.” It was more of a statement than a question. He was about to open his mouth to speak again, but kept quiet at the last moment. Should he even bother going out of his way to try and help her? Perhaps he would have without second thought, if the girl didn’t seem so cheeky.
