「SHOW THEM OUR BLAZING BLUE FLAMES。」

There was a long pause in which Kouji tested a few different replies in his head, before finally shifting on his feet and answering. “…You from around here?” Blond hair, blue eyes; it was something Kouji had usually only seen while he was in America. Otherwise they were a foreigner. But that didn’t mean Kouji could accuse the blond of anything without gleaning some insight.

He especially couldn’t be accusing every strange person he met of being a part of the world of Digimon. Although it was starting to seem that the chances were fairly high that people he met were knowledgeable of the Digital World at least in some respect, Kouji couldn’t be sure of anything just yet.

But a blond-haired foreigner out in the middle of nowhere that seemed a little too isolated to be part of any group? It was just suspicious enough for Kouji to investigate without seeming too strange. That, and Kouji was just a little more lost than he would like to admit.

An eyebrow smoothly raised at the other’s question, before both brows knitted themselves together, giving off the slightest look of discontent. Judging this guy by his question alone brought him under the conclusion that the other assumed him to be a foreigner or something. Well, he wouldn’t totally blame him. He was well aware of his appearance atypical amongst the people of Japan. That didn’t stop him from feeling a little miffed about it, though.

“No,” Kiriha bluntly stated with a fluid Japanese tongue, “Not particularly. But I know my way around well enough.”

He let his gaze sweep over the other’s form briefly, observing him from his stance to his expression. It certainly wasn’t his place to judge him, he knew that much, but… This guy couldn’t possibly want to ask him for directions instead, could he? He looked like he belonged to these parts, so he somehow doubted it. Yet the look he had on told him otherwise, as if he had something to say. Well, no harm in asking once more.

Eyes darted back to settle upon the other’s dark blue ones. “Like I said, did you need something?”
