Taiki tilts his head and stares at Kiriha curiously. “You get embarrassed around Nene sometimes though. I also have more patience than you do. I’d go crazy otherwise.” He points behind him, where, in the distance, Daisuke, Takato and Takuya are trying to get Veemon and Guilmon’s heads out of the ground, where Guilmon dug a hole and they both tried to look in at the same time. He’s completely ignoring Tagiru raging.

“FOR A GOGGLE HEAD? What’s that supposed to mean?”

He seems to stiffen for a fleeting moment, looking at Taiki with an unreadable look. But then, his pursed lips form themselves into a smirk.

“…Heh. Like the way you get when you’re around Hinamoto? Not a chance.” Turning his gaze to the ongoing scene, he pauses, then adds without looking away, “…Hn. Point taken.”

At Tagiru’s outburst, he tears his gaze away from the background antics and turns to look at the boy, lifting an eyebrow at him. “It means what you think it means, goggle head.”
